Alexandria Level 2 Electricians

Alexandria Level 2 Electricians is the dedicated local specialist for complex electrical services, proudly serving the Alexandria community and the wider Inner West region. As a fully licensed and insured Accredited Service Provider (ASP) Level 2, we hold the critical authorisation from major network distributors, including Ausgrid and Endeavour Energy. This specialised certification is essential, as it legally allows our expert technicians to safely work directly on the electricity network infrastructure that connects the street supply to your property’s main switchboard. A standard electrician cannot perform this critical, high-voltage work.

Our primary goal is to ensure every residential, commercial, and industrial property in Alexandria receives a safe, compliant, and robust power connection capable of meeting modern demands. Our comprehensive range of Level 2 services includes:

* Switchboard Upgrades and Replacements: We specialise in replacing older, high-risk fuse-based switchboards—common in Alexandria’s established buildings—with modern circuit breaker panels equipped with essential safety switches (RCDs/RCBOs). This upgrade is paramount for safety, overload prevention, and accommodating new electrical installations.

* Consumer Mains and Power Supply Upgrades: Many properties require an upgrade to their consumer mains cable to support new appliances, renovations, or an increase in power demand. We provide professional installation and upgrading of these main supply cables. We are also experts in converting connections from single-phase to three-phase power, which is necessary for high-load systems such as commercial equipment, large EV chargers, or ducted air conditioning.

* Private Power Pole Services: We handle all work related to private power poles, including new installations, urgent replacement of damaged or deteriorated timber/steel poles, and crucial maintenance to ensure correct electrical clearances. We also repair or relocate the Point of Attachment (POA) on your structure.

* Overhead and Underground Service Connections: Our technicians are fully qualified for the installation, repair, and modification of both overhead service lines and underground service mains. This covers new connections for developments, disconnections/reconnections for construction, and complex fault finding on underground cabling.

* Metering Solutions: As a licensed Level 2 ASP, we are authorised to install, relocate, and upgrade all types of electricity meters, including the transition to smart meters and configuring tariffs for systems like solar PV or off-peak hot water. We handle all liaison with the energy retailer and network provider on your behalf.

* Defect Notice Rectification & Compliance: If your property receives an electrical defect notice from the network provider, we offer prompt, guaranteed service to rectify all compliance issues, ensuring your power remains connected and adheres to the strict NSW Service and Installation Rules.

We are committed to exceptional customer service, offering clear communication, upfront pricing, and a guarantee on all workmanship. Since electrical faults affecting the grid connection—like power loss, damaged mains, or critical defects—can occur unexpectedly, our 24/7 emergency Level 2 electricians are ready to respond rapidly throughout Alexandria to diagnose, isolate, and safely restore your power, minimising disruption to your home or business. For all critical electrical supply work, trust the certified local specialists at Alexandria Level 2 Electricians.
