Kensington Level 2 Electricians is a premier, locally-based electrical service provider serving Kensington and the Eastern Suburbs. As a fully Accredited Service Provider (ASP) with Level 2 authorization, we possess the specialized training and licensing to handle complex electrical work directly connected to the main electricity network. When your electrical needs go beyond the switchboard and involve the street grid, our certified professionals are the only ones authorized to help.
Our unique accreditation allows us to perform a wide array of high-risk and essential services that a general electrician cannot. These include:
* Overhead Services Installation, maintenance, and emergency repair of the aerial service lines and cables connecting your property to the street power grid. This also covers repairing or relocating the Point of Attachment on your building or pole.
* Underground Services Expert installation and fault-finding for underground consumer mains, including cable jointing, trenching, and upgrading supply lines to your property.
* Power Supply Upgrades & New Connections From connecting a brand-new build to the network to upgrading older single-phase power to a higher capacity three-phase supply, we manage the entire process, including all necessary network approvals and metering requirements.
* Metering Installation, replacement, and relocation of all electricity meters, including smart meters, solar-ready meters, and controlled load setups, ensuring compliance with energy distributor standards.
* Private Power Poles Installation, replacement, and maintenance of private power poles on your property, a critical service for both safety and maintaining a reliable power supply.
* Defect Notice Rectification Prompt and compliant resolution of electrical defect notices issued by energy distributors (like Ausgrid or Endeavour Energy), which often require urgent Level 2 work to prevent or restore power disconnection.
The work performed by Kensington Level 2 Electricians is inherently high-stakes, requiring strict adherence to safety standards and network regulations. We are fully licensed, insured, and accredited with all local network operators, ensuring every job, from a simple service fuse replacement to a complete mains upgrade, is done safely, legally, and to the highest quality. We handle all compliance paperwork and network notifications, providing you with complete peace of mind.
Choose Kensington Level 2 Electricians for certified expertise, local knowledge, and reliable service when your property’s connection to the power network demands a specialist.
